Import all the clips
Add them from your Photo Library or iCloud Files. Any mix of lengths and orientations is fine.
Choose how to split the screen
Two clips: halves. Three: thirds or one-big-two-small. Four: 2×2. Up to nine: full grid. Mixed layouts let one clip dominate while others support.
Trim each clip on its own track
Every video gets independent in/out points on the timeline — so each frame shows exactly the seconds you want, starting when you want.
Tune the look
Spacing between frames, corner radius, background color — plus text layers anywhere on top.
Export one video
Pick 9:16, 1:1, 16:9 or another ratio and render in high quality (HDR supported). The result is a single file that plays anywhere.
Layout guide by clip count
- 2 clips → left/right for vertical sources, top/bottom for horizontal ones.
- 3 clips → one large + two stacked small keeps a clear main subject.
- 4 clips → the 2×2 grid: everything equal, everything visible.
- 5–9 clips → full grid for montage energy; keep each clip short and moving.
